Adrienne Kessler Morton, 77, of Oxford passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, at her home.

Born on October 10, 1948, in Kings County, NY, she was the daughter of the late Hymann Kessler and Bertha Goodman Kessler.

Adrienne was a teacher for many years and received her Doctorate in Educational Law. She retired as an elementary school principal from Vance County Public Schools.

Memorial services will be held Monday, June 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Oxford United Methodist Church. Pastor Glenn Stallsmith will officiate. A reception will follow the memorial service in the family life center at Oxford United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Elwood “Woody” Morton; one daughter, Virginia Ann Morton Reese (Danny); one son, Alexander Scott Morton; three grandchildren, Shawn Reese (Angel), Kimberly Reese and Vincent Reese and two great grandchildren, Bryan Reese and Philip Reese. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Rita and Harold.
