Obituary

Alfred Ray Huff, 77, of Oxford passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 20, 1946, to the late Raymond Huff and Rachel Gentry Huff.
Alfred was employed at Burlington Industries for fifty-two years as a maintenance supervisor before his retirement.  He was the owner of Al's Locksmith for many years. Alfred was a member of Providence Baptist Church and was an avid Nascar fan. He loved his family with all of his heart and was always the life of the party.  He never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need.  He was loved by all, if you ever met him, you would fall in love with him, a true friend to many. He was a true fan of Elvis and loved his dog "Max" immensely. He loved his two daughters, four grandchildren, one great grandson and one soon-to-be great grandson.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Providence Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Frank Sossamon and Reverend William Wheeler Jr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Currin (Ronnie) of Franklinton and Brenda Faucette (James) of Bullock; four grandchildren, Jonathan Pulley of Henderson, Adam Pulley of Greenville, Matt Faucette (Meredith) of Bullock and Monica Harrell (his princess) (Bailey) of Oxford, one great-grandson, Dawson and soon to be Brayden "Ray" Harrell; two sisters, Ruth Satterwhite and Elizabeth Humphries and three brothers, Bobby Huff, Archie Huff and David Huff.  He was preceded in death by the love of his life since he was fourteen years old, Mary Alice Huff; one son, Willie Henley; two sisters, Joyce Clark and Mary Cox, and one brother, James Huff.
The family will receive friends Sunday, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall of Providence Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M.
Serving as pall bearers will be James Kakalec, Ronnie Currin, Archie Huff, David Huff, Bailey Harrell, Alan Faucette, Wayne Hobgood and Wayne Jackson.
