Algin Lewis Cash 91, of Creedmoor, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the VA Medical Center in Durham.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Jacob Eugene Cash and Mary Allen Cash.
Algin was a long-time member of Concord Baptist Church and proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked in the construction business and was a painter by trade.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Creedmoor. Conducted by Rev. David Herman. Interment with military honors will follow at Rogers Family Cemetery.

Survivors include two granddaughters, Marie Buckley and Lisa Cash Barbour; five great grandchildren, Michael Harrell, Summer Faust (Clinton), Victoria Barbour, Heaven Lewis and Bennett Barbour; seven great great grandchildren; several nephews and other extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Pamala Cash and Teresa Sandefier; two sons, Robbie Algin Cash and Carlton Lewis Cash; one grandson, Robbie Algin Cash II; one great granddaughter; Carlye Harrell; three sisters, Ethel Mangum, Mary Francis Duke and Barbara Jean Clay; and five brothers, Melvin Cash, Marvin Cash, Robert Cash, John Cash and Allen Cash.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
