Alvis M Clayton

Alvis "Monty" Montgomery Clayton 64, of Oxford, NC, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Granville Health System.

Born in Silver Springs, MD, he was the son of the late Alvis Claude Clayton and Lillie Mae Bowen Clayton.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 12 noon at Covenant Life. Conducted by Pastor David Akers.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea Peace; four daughter, Melissa Ann Contreas, Cassie Marie Tharrington (Antwan), Alexandria Nichole Clayton and Tiffany Rose Clayton; one sister, Tonya Rose Clayton; one brother, John Edward Clayton; and thirteen grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Presley Jade Tharrington.
