Amanda L. Jones

Amanda Lea Jones 46, formerly of Henderson, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her home in Burlington.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Pershing Wilson Jones Jr and Nancy Mims Holye Jones.

She was of the Baptist faith.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Carey Baptist Church Cemetery. Conducted by the Rev. Johnny Yount. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Survivors include two brothers, Jerry L. Jones (Kim) and Jeffery G. Jones (Rhonda); three aunts, Janet Slaughter (Sherby), Denise Woodlief (Kerry) and Rita Cross; one uncle, Ronald "Bud" Jones (Becky), one niece, Melissa Williams; and one nephew, Trevor W. Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Matt Jones; her maternal grandparents, William and Cornelia Hoyle; and her maternal grandparents, Pershing and Irma Jones.
