Amanda C. Sayers-Pearson

Amanda C. Sayers-Pearson, 41, of Warrenton, NC, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024, at UNC Hospital.

Born in Stark County Ohio, she was the daughter of Carol Theresa Gandee. She was the widow of Dr. Stephen Frank Pearson.

Amanda graduated from Central Catholic High School in 2001. She got her Bachelor's Degree from Stark State in N. Canton and once moving to Florida she received her Master's Degree from Webster University. She met and married Dr. Stephen Pearson on October 19, 2009. They relocated to Henderson, NC and with the help of Stephens son Corey, they built Sadie's Coffee Corner in downtown Henderson and opened it on October 19, 2019. She is also the co-owner of several businesses. Stephen preceded her in death in March of 2021. She then moved to Warrenton, NC.

She is survived by her mother, three stepchildren: Corey Pearson of Henderson, Mickayla Pearson of Florida, Tanika Elkins of Kentucky, one stepbrother; Phillip Sayers; cousins Molly and Kelly and family, a boyfriend; Kenneth Barker; her two dogs who she loved dearly; Rue and Bridges, along with aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, grandparents, stepdad; Phil Gandee and her dog Sadie.

Her wishes to be cremated were honored and a celebration of life will be held at Sadie's Coffee Corner Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 3 – 5 p.m.
