Amie Ridout Reeves, 53, of Warrenton, NC, passed from this life on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at Maria Parham Hospital.

Born in Vance County (at Maria Parham Hospital) and native & resident of Warren County, NC all of her life, she was the daughter of the late Egerton Baker Ridout, Jr. and Willie Ann Kidd Ridout.

Visitation & Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 12th at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church, 905 Americal Rd, Henderson, NC. The visitation will start at 10:00am, Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am with a luncheon immediately following the service at the church. Amie was a member of the South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served God in many capacities since joining the church in June, 2003. Amie was a college alumni of Louisburg College (Louisburg, NC) and NC State University (Raleigh, NC) where she received her Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications. Amie held many positions in life, working at WYRN (1480 AM ) & WHLQ (102.5 FM) in Louisburg, NC & WQDR (94.7 FM) radio stations where she worked as a DJ and making commercials.

She will be best remembered for her leadership role in Mary Kay Cosmetics where she worked as an Independent Consultant & Sales Director for almost 31 years. Sharing and teaching skin care & color cosmetics. Delivering wonderful products, sharing the business opportunity and her beautiful smile.

Surviving are her husband of 27 years, William Michael Wayne Reeves; daughter Mikael Renee Preslie Reeves. Her siblings, sister Kristie Lynn Ridout (Russell Humphries) of Warrenton, NC. and brother Egerton Baker Ridout, III (Shannon) of Louisburg, NC.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made in honor of Amie, to SHPHC Missions Ministry. A ministry she was a member of that focuses on continuing to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and helping those in need.
