Anne B. Vaughan

Anne Breedlove Vaughan known as Beth, 98, of Oxford, N.C. died Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at a local nursing home.

Born in Vance County on November 25, 1925, she was the youngest daughter of the late William Claudius Breedlove and Mary Chandler Breedlove.  She was the widow of Frank Thomas Vaughan.

Mrs. Vaughan worked for many years and retired from Roses Stores in Henderson in the Administrative Office.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Henderson.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., at Sunset Gardens, conducted by Pastor Will Breedlove.

Surviving is a granddaughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Vaughan and a grandson, Paul Alexander Vaughan and one great grandchild.  Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Paul Moss Vaughan and eight sisters and five brothers.

The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson.
