Ms. Annette Lee Johnson, 53, died unexpectedly in Roxboro, North Carolina on November 20, 2023.

She is survived by her partner of 24 years, Richard Dean Thompson, her son Chance Allen Johnson, 17, and her adult children, Theressa Marie Fortier and Trevor Martin of South Carolina.

She was an employee of U.S. Flue Cured Tobacco of Timberlake, North Carolina, and had been employed through the Reserve Network for the last five years both while living in Danville, Virginia and after returning at the end of 2021 to live in North Carolina. Annette was a softhearted woman who loved her family and friends. She had a good sense of humor and a kind heart. She was tenderhearted towards animals. She enjoyed reading, doing intricate adult coloring and puzzles, camping, fishing, and cooking for her family and friends.

A Celebration of her Life will be held for her family and friends at the Oxford Presbyterian Church in Oxford, North Carolina on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
