Anthony Ray Yarborough, 47, of Henderson passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at Maria Parham Health.

Born on May 11, 1979, in Vance County, he was the son of Donald Ray Yarborough and Brenda Kay Brummitt Yarborough.

Anthony loved singing and found great joy being in his boat on the water where bass fishing was more than a hobby; it was a passion. Above all else, Anthony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and son. His greatest pride was spending time with those he loved, creating memories that will last forever. Anthony was a maintenance supervisor with Concrete Pipe and Precast.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Island Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Johnny Yount and Rev. Frank Sossamon will officiate.

Survivors include his wife, April Hedgepeth Yarborough; two sons, Brtyton Wade Yarborough and Jaxson Ray Yarborough; one daughter, Adalynn Marie Yarborough; two grandchildren, Karleigh Grace Yarborough and Easton Ray Yarborough; his parents, Donnie and Brenda Yarborough and numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George “Buck” Yarborough and Ellen Collier Yarborough; his maternal grandparents, Dennis J. Brummitt and Katie Wade Brummitt and his in-laws, Jimmy D. Hedgepeth and Debbie M. Hedgepeth.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Island Creek Baptist Church.
