Arlene Rhoades

Arlene Rhoades passed away peacefully, with her children by her side, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC on 11/28/2022.

Arlene was known as "Mama" by many, as she opened her heart and home to all that she knew. As unorthodox as she may have been, her home was always full of love and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Sears Gearhart, her husband, Dusty Rhoades and her two favorite dogs, Molly and Georgie.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Karen & Bill Stone, whom cared for her lovingly in her latter years, along with their pups, Myrtie & Pali. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark Rhoades & Tara Hewitt, her daughter and son-in-law, Marlis & Lee Littleton, her grandson, Carter Littleton, her son-in-love, Doug Curtin, and the many who her called her "mama".

A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Henderson, NC conducted by Sossamon Funeral Home.
