Barbara A Winstead

Barbara Anderson Winstead 91, of Henderson, NC, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at Maria Parham Health.

Born in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Selsus Jackson Anderson and Ruth Cornelia Anderson. She was the wife of the late George Edward Winstead.

She was a long-time member at West End Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Gardens conducted by the Rev. Johnny Yount.

She is survived by two daughters; Jennifer W. Beresheski (Jim), Kelly W. Ellington (Ralph), one son; George E. Winstead (Teresa), seven grandchildren, Katie Stainback (Preston), Jake Beresheski (Amber), Morgan Buchan (Andrew), Abby Ellington, Ryan Winstead (Colleen), Jackson Winstead, Molly Winstead, six great-grandchildren; Greyson Stainback, Emery Stainback, Addy Beresheski, Maxton Buchan, Blake Buchan, Sophie Winstead, two brothers; Butch Anderson and Donald Anderson (Sally) along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters; Jeanne Hight, Patricia Winstead, five brothers; Ronald Anderson, Johnny Anderson, Kelly Anderson, Bill Anderson and Michael Keith Anderson.
