Ben Benjamin Heath, 73, of Henderson, NC, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Maria Parham Franklin.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Ben Archie Heath and Beluah Hite Heath.

Mr. Heath was a member of North Henderson Baptist Church. He worked and retired from S.T. Wooten as well worked at Roses. He was currently working at Greystone Concrete.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years Vickie Clayborne Heath; two daughters Tracy West and Bobbie Bowes (Mike); three grandsons, Raymond West (Kelly), Travis Heath (Taylor), and Payton Heath; one granddaughter, Rain Bowes; nine great-grandchildren, Lillian Stainback, Addison Stainback, Ace Stainback, London Stainback, Ally West, Lailee West, Abel West, Lex West, and Abel Heath; three brothers, Donald Heath, Jack Heath, and Tommy Heath; two dogs, Thor and Toby; and many nieces and nephews. Alongside his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ben Benjamin Heath Jr., and one sister, Rebecca "Becky" Ramsey.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson conducted by Rev. Eddie Nutt. Interment will immediately follow at Sunset Gardens.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 2-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. At all other times they will be at them home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Payton Heath, Charles Heath, Travis Heath, Raymond West, Lance Lickness, Jay Matthews, Wayne Clayborne, and Cameron Gill. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be former and current co-workers from Greystone Concrete.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Henderson Baptist Church, 1211 N. Garnett St. Henderson, NC 27536.
