Bertha Mae Harmon Marcinowski, 97, of Creedmoor passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.
Born in Chatham County, NC on March 7, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Jackson Harmon and Marion Elizabeth Myers Harmon.
Bertha was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was the "Queen Bee" and matriarch of her beloved family. Bertha was loved by her family and friends just as much as she loved them and will be missed by all that knew her.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Creedmoor. Reverend Dan Hill and Reverend Ray Gooch will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.
Survivors include one daughter, Norma Jean Feller (Brett); one son, Bobby Harmon (Delores); three granddaughters, Gwen Dickerson, Erin Marcinowski and Heather Marcinowski; six grandsons, Frankie Marcinowski IV, Doug Harmon, Greg Fisher, Holden Marcinowski, Jason Marcinowski and Shawn Marcinowski; six great grandchildren, Hannah Dickerson, Stephen Dickerson, Gracie Dickerson, Joshua Harmon, Madi Fisher and Will Fisher; one great granddaughter, Alyssa Marcinowski; one great-great grandson, Jaxon Brooker; two sisters, Bea Phillips (James) and Jackie Dinkins; her faithful, sixteen year old dog, Gabbie Mae and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Marcinowski and two children, Jimmy and Frankie Marcinowski.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
Pallbearers for the service will be Doug Harmon, Greg Fisher, Holden Marcinowski, Shawn Marcinowski, Stephen Dickerson and Josh Harmon. Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Marcinowski IV and Mark Woods.
