Bob Garland Cross Jr., 88, of Creedmoor passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, at his home.

Born in Granville County, on April 4, 1938, he was the son of the late Bob Garland Cross Sr. and Alice Clegg Cross.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at the Old Creedmoor Cemetery. Chaplain Amanda Hayes-Bowman will officiate.

Survivors include one daughter, Tonya Cross; one son Linwood Cross; two grandchildren, Brandon Ellington and Hunter Cross; one sister, Nellie Brame; special friends, Aaron Crisp, Kay Adams, and Joe and Barbara White and numerous extended family members and friends.
