Bobby Blaine "Bob" Brinkley, 86, of the Watkins Community, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Born in Shade Valley, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James Odell Brinkley and Ardie Rosetta Lewis Brinkley.
Mr. Brinkley was a member of Shady Valley Baptist Church as well as the Taylorsville Masonic Lodge #243 in Mountain City, Tennessee.
Surviving are his wife, Syble "Sally" Blackburn Brinkley; one son, Tracy Lee Brinkley; one sister, June Brinkley Jenkins (Edsel), of Bristol, TN; and one brother, Donald Eugene Brinkley, of Mississippi. Alongside his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James "Bert" Brinkley.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 11-12:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Henderson. For all other times, they will be at the home of Bob and Sally Brinkley's everyday, excluding Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
