Brenda D. Adcock

Brenda Daniel Adcock 89, of Butner, NC, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Marsh Daniel and Nell Gray Averette.

She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Butner.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Adcock (Barbara Esau) and Gerry Adcock (Nancy); four grandchildren, Jeremy Adcock (Sheena), Ashley Fisher (John), Michael Adcock and Alex Adcock; four great grandchildren, Andrew Adcock, Hannah Adcock, Jason Fisher and Juliet Fisher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepfather, John Nelson Mangum; two brothers, Fred Marsh Daniel Jr and Robert "Don" Daniel; and one sister, Mary Louise Tilley.

Mrs. Adcock was a lover of animals and especially her loyal Missy, therefore the family request that anyone wanting to express their sympathy, to consider making a contribution to the Granville County Animal Shelter in her name.
