Brenda Powell Jackson, 68, of Henderson, N.C. died Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Maria Parham Health.
Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Annie Pendergrass Powell and Roy Thomas Powell.
A memorial service will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
Surviving is her husband of fifty years, Authur Furman Jackson Sr. Two sons, Furman Jackson Jr. And T.J. Jackson; one sister, Anne Manning (Tommy), along with many nieces and nephews and extended family members.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Powell and two sisters, Linda Lassiter and Nancy Rooker.
