Brenda Carol Davis Wilson, 73, of Oxford, NC, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at Atrium Health Union Hospital in Monroe, NC.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late James Marvin Davis and Beulah Martin, survived by her brother, Ronnie Davis (Betty Lou) and sister, Barbara Kerley (the late Claude).

Surviving are her devoted husband of fifty-five years, Doug Wilson, her three children, Jim Wilson (Rebecca), John Wilson (Gabbi), and Sara Wilson; nine grandchildren, Courtney Wilson, Joey Wilson (Taylor), Grace Crosby (Zack), Cole Wilson, Jamie Wilson, Clara Jo Wilson, Griffin Wilson, Lula Jane Wilson, and Addi Rose Wilson; two step-grandchildren, Howard Evans and Charlie Wright, and two great grandchildren, Grayson Wilson and Samaul Wilson.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Oxford conducted by Rev. Ernie Taylor. Interment will immediately follow the service at Meadowview Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 6-7:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Oxford.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Wilson, Cole Wilson, Jamie Wilson, Marvin Davis, Harold Davis, and CL Kerley.
