Brian Scott Lewis

Scott Lewis, 44, of Creedmoor, NC passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, December 5, 2022 at his home, after a long & courageous battle with a brain cancer.  Born in Durham County, he was the son of Robert Thomas Lewis and Robin Dale Fisher Dillehay.

Scott was a passionate advocate of Medical Marijuana and had presented the subject to members of the N.C. General Assembly on several occasions. He was also the founding member of the Compassionate Club of N.C. Scott received an Associate's Degree in Automotive Service from Guilford Technical Community College. He worked at Performance Automotive for 13 years, advancing to the position of Acura Service Manager.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Heather Roberts Lewis; son, Cole Michael Lewis; sister, Holly Sanseverino (Chris); niece, Parker Sanseverino; three nephews, Myles Sanseverino, Beckett Sanseverino and Cash Sanseverino; step mother, Beth Lewis; mother and father in-law, Lauren & Mike Roberts; sister in-law, Jessi Roberts (Kimberly Watson); step sister, Lauren Bachman; and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his step father, Jimmy Dillehay; and grandparents, Ralph & Rosa Lewis, Layton & Billie Fisher, Al & Joyce Roberts and Iris Brogden.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made for his son, Cole Lewis via Heather Lewis.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor. Conducted by the Rev. Jeff McCarthy. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
