Carlton L. Cash

Carlton Lewis Cash 68, of Durham, NC, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at Duke University Hospital.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of Algin Lewis Cash and the late Willie Mae Lowery Cash.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor. Conducted by the Rev. David Herman. Interment will follow at Rogers Family Cemetery.

In addition to his father, survivors include two nieces, Lisa Barbour and Marie Buckley; and other extended family members. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Pamala Cash and Teresa Sandefier; one brother, Robbie Algin Cash; and one nephew, Robbie Algin Cash II.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
