Carol Ann Oakley

Carol Ann Oakley, 78, of Henderson, NC, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Duke University Hospital.

Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late Zacheriah J.D. Oakley and Goldie A. Oakley.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Henderson conducted by the Rev. Jeff Prewer. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery of Henderson.

She is survived by one daughter; Darlene Parrish, one son; Robert Satterwhite Jr., three sisters; Kaye Renn Ayscue (John), Izona Perry (Charlie),and Faye Hull (Don) and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son; William Ronnie Laws, one sister; Joan Dingman, and one brother; Cleve Dallas Oakley.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scottie Wilson, Mike Wilson, Jeffrey Scott Wilson, Bruce Parrish Sr., William Jones, Bradley Parrish, and Christopher Parrish.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
