Carolyn Bostic Hedgepeth, 78, of Oxford passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at her home.
Born in Durham County, she was the daughter of the late Archie Garris and Mary P. Garris.
She was of the Baptist faith and retired from John Umstead Hospital after many years of service.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at South Granville Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include one son, Charles "Troy" Bostic (Debbie); one grandson, Joshua Drew Bostic (Armanie); one step grandson, Cole Bair; two nephews, Ronnie Turner and Jason Turner and her two canine companions, "Little Joe" and "Abby". Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Wayne Bostic and Michael Curtis Bostic; the father of her children, Marvin Drue Bostic; her second husband, Jimmy Wayne Hedgepeth and one sister, Ellen Turner.
The family will receive friends at the home of Carolyn Hedgepeth.
