Carolyn Tuck Vargo, 76, of Creedmoor, NC, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Duke Regional Hospital.

Born in Durham County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Lloyd Tuck and India Sue Via Tuck.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Charles Henry Vargo; one daughter, Lisa Vargo; two sons, Scoot Vargo (Pam), and William Vargo (Jessica); three grandchildren, Paige Evans, Jacob Vargo, and Alyssa Vargo; three great-grandchildren, Saige, Ezra, and Charlie and one brother, Bobby Tuck (Rosemary). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ricky Tuck, Harold Tuck and Jr Tuck.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor conducted by Rev. Dr. Al Sholar & Brenda Sholar.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
