Carrie Day Moore, 91, of Oxford passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Oxford Health and Rehab.
Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late Ira Samuel Day and Charlotte Gentry Day.
Carrie was a member of Delrayno Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Delrayno Baptist Church. Pastor Joe Don Cooper and Reverend Jim Shelley will officiate. Entombment will follow at Meadowview Memorial Park.
Survivors include one son, Sammy Ray Moore (Donna); one daughter, Teresa Jackson; one son in law, Sam Taylor; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Abraham Moore; one daughter, Linda Taylor; one son in law, Jimmy Jackson; one brother, Billy Day and two sisters, Lula Bell Moore and Becky Vaughan.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Delrayno Baptist Church.
