Casey Stephenson Johnson, 32, of Butner passed away Friday, March 8, 2024.

Born in Durham County, she was the daughter of Rickey Lee Stephenson and Glenda Smith Stephenson.

Casey was a staple of the community with her infectious smile, loud laugh, and delicious meals. Casey was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. You could always count on her to be there for you no matter the reason.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Butner Baptist Church with the Reverend James Shelly officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.

Survivors include one son, Jace Duvall Johnson; her parents, Rickey and Glenda Stephenson; one sister, Kelly Stephenson (A.J.); two nieces, Ava Swanson and Stella Swanson; a cousin, David Stephenson; an aunt, Jo Ann Stephenson; her mother-in-law, Nancy Averett and one sister-in-law, Christine Swanson (Kenny). She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Blan Johnson; her maternal grandparents, Bobby and Rachel Stone and Glenn Smith; her paternal grandparents, Edgar and Dorothy Stephenson and an uncle, Jimmie Stephenson.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 18, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the family life center at Butner Baptist Church.
