Charles Royster Noblin 86, of Oxford, NC passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at his home.
Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Dr. Roy Lee Noblin and Mary Ann Royster Noblin.
Mr. Noblin was an active member of the Henry F. Granger Lodge #412, a Sudan Shriner, Shriners International, a faithful member of Oxford Baptist Church and a proud Army veteran.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Meadowview Memorial Park. Conducted by Pastor Eddie Mauldin. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service, at other times they will be at the home.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Carolyn Hamme Noblin; one daughter, Janet Noblin Noel (Chris); one son, Charles Royster Noblin Jr (Shelly); one brother, Roy Noblin Jr (Margie); four granddaughters; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Julia Noblin Currin.
