Charles Wayne Ayscue, 70, of Henderson, NC, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Franklin County, NC, on May 31, 1956, he was the beloved youngest son of the late Fred Ayscue and O. Lorena Pernell Ayscue.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Ayscue (Stephanie); son, Kelvin Ayscue (Tiffany); sister, Christine Bass (Earl); brother, Fred Clifton Ayscue; grandson, Grayson Ayscue; granddaughter, Autumn Dalton; nephew, Ricky Bass (Elizabeth); and a great-nephew and great-niece.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
