Christine T Pickett

Christine Turner Pickett – 86 of Hillsborough, NC passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, in Wake Forest, NC.

Born in Granville County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Lee Turner and Irene Etta Hockaday Turner. She was the widow of Claiborne Pickett.

She was a longtime member of Brassfield Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor. Conducted by her nephew Mike Carpenter. Interment will follow at Brassfield Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Kristie Kearney Davis; one granddaughter, Hailey Davis; two sisters, Faye Turner Brown and Sally Turner; one niece, Kim C Hamric; two nephews, Mike Carpenter and Jeffery Carpenter; as well as other extended family members. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy T Ramey; and two brothers, Marvin L Turner and Sam M Turner.

The family will receive friends at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
