Christine Virginia Davis Robbins, 87, went home to be with the lord on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Maria Parham Franklin Hospital.

A native of Granville County, she was born to the late Dewey Roosevelt Davis and Ellen Reece Davis on April 26, 1936. She was a member of Peace's Chapel Baptist Church. Christine worked in the food hospitality business all her life until she retired, then spending her time with her family, friends, and in her happiest place, her church. She loved cooking and made everything taste better. Christine spent daily time reading and studying her Bible and serving her beloved Lord to the best of her ability. She was devoted to her good Lord, her family, and her church family.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Peace's Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She will be open for viewing at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on the day of the service.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William R. Robbins, two sisters; Angie Davis Fogleman, and Patsy Davis Edwards. Her three brothers; Jack, Charles, and Wilburn Davis. Surviving is her son, Bobby Dickerson, daughters Angie Graziano (Mike), and Susan Satterwhite. Six granddaughters; Cristy McLean, Renee Mosley, Chasity Gordon, April Phelps, Deanna Matthews, and Jessica Heman-Ackah. Two grandsons; Joey Dickerson and T.J. Satterwhite. Nineteen great grandchildren, six great, great grandchildren, and her brother-in-law James Edwards.

While Christine has passed away, she is freed from the cares and toils of this life and is enjoying the blessedness of peace and love in her forever life with the others who were waiting to greet her.
