Cindy W. McGhee

Cindy Wheeler McGhee 64, of Rougemont, NC passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Granville health System.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late James Howard Wheeler and Janie Rose Jones Wheeler. She was the widow of Ricky McGhee.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Meadowview Memorial Park. Conducted by the Rev. William Wheeler Jr.

Survivors include two daughters, Salina McGhee and Crystal Munck; two sons, Chris Hite (Norrissa) and Daniel McGhee; five grandchildren, Jazmin King, Brandon King (Stacy), Dillon Hite (Samantha), Logan Hite and Aiden Munck; four great grandchildren, Mason King, Bryson King, Archie Carthen and Connor Hite; one sister, Vickie Williams; one brother, Richard Dean (Paula); and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Granville County Animal Shelter.
