Connie W. Cole, 72, of Creedmoor passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at her home.

Born on February 28, 1953, she was the daughter of the late William Edward King and Dorothy Ann Newcomb.

Connie retired from Ideal Fasteners after many years of service.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor.

Survivors include one son, William Jeffrey Thompson (Stephanie Rose Brown); two grandchildren, Haley Elizabeth Thompson and William Jeffrey Thompson Jr. "J.J."; her best friend, Lynn Adcock and numerous friends and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Flossie Newcomb.
