Dale Janice West Blair, 74, of Creedmoor, NC passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at home, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born to the late Dennis Puckett West and Mary Sue Wilson West in South Boston, VA on December 1, 1949.

Dale was known as Mimi to most of the people who knew and loved her. She was a proud state employee that served Murdoch Center for many years. She loved doing arts and crafts, painting and crocheting. That love didn't even compare to her love for going to her grandchildren's baseball games and performances, while also spending time with her family.

Dale is survived by her sons Greg Blair and wife Deanna of Creedmoor, NC and Anthony Blair and wife Rachel of Louisburg, NC. In addition to her children, she is survived by eight beloved grandchildren: Mackenzie, Cole, Sophia, Avaleigh, Elias, Liam, Jonas and Benedict, as well as her chihuahua, Nellie. In addition, she is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and very close friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Arthur Blair.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 17th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Sossamon Funeral Home in Creedmoor with funeral services to be held Sunday, February 18th at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Creedmoor, NC. Services will be conducted by Pastor Buddy Ritter. Burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.
