Deborah T. Salas

Deborah Ann Travis Salas – 54 of Henderson, NC, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Truman Travis Sr. And Dolly Ann Jackson Travis.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson. Conducted by the Rev. Wayne Clark. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens.

Survivors include her husband, Antonio Salas Linares; two daughters, Veronica Verdin and Michelle Travis (Eliseo Salas); one son Jose Antonio Verdin; one sister, Beverly Carol Travis-Salas (Saul); three brothers, Thomas Travis Jr (Kim), Michael Travis (Sheila) and Donnie Travis Sr.; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jose "Jay" Luis Verdin.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson. At other times they will be at the home.
