Debra B. Roberson

Debra Beard Roberson, 66, of Henderson, NC died July 12, 2022 at Maria Parham Health.

Born in Sumter, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harrison R. Beard and Annie Ayscue Beard.  She was the widow of Douglas M. Roberson Jr.

Debra was formerly employed with Blue Cross & Blue Shield Insurance Company and was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

Graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Sunset Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Josh Waddell.

Surviving are two sons, Douglas Shane Roberson (Jules) and Michael Lance Roberson; one sister, Janet Beard Norwood; and one grandchild Douglas M. Roberson III.  Alone with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Beard.

Serving as pall bearers will be Lewis Keller, Scott Stegall, Dale Ayscue, Joseph Cash, Kevin Roberson, and Randy Roberson.

The family will receive friends Saturday, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home.
