Dennis Lee Currin, 68, of Henderson, NC died Tuesday, March 14,2023, at his home.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Milton Currin and Rebbie Tucker Currin.

Dennis was retired as Manager of Walker Auto Parts and was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church, where he was very instrumental in the music program of the church.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Matthews.

Surviving is his wife of thirty-two years, Donna Gardner Currin; one brother, Milton "Freddie" Currin (Tommie Lee). Dennis was a father figure to a lot of children including Steve Currin, Cale Currin, Sherry C. Jackson, D.J. Clark and T.K. Yates and he is also survived by a granddaughter, Reilynn Grace Yates. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by Curtis Ellington.

The family will receive friends at his home.
