Diane H. Fisher

Diane Hockemeyer Fisher, 59, of Kittrell, NC died Monday, August 8, 2022 at Maria Parham Health.

Born in Michigan, she was the daughter of Dana Hamilton Hockemeyer and the late Kenneth Robert Hockemeyer Sr.

Diane was loved by so many people and loved and excelled in her job with Kittrell Job Corps.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Oakridge Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband, Steven C. Fisher, one son, Kyle Freshour, a step-son, Jordan Fisher; three sisters, Joey Cooney, Ruth Serrato (Tony) and Robin Wehrman (Terry); four brothers, Ken Hockemeyer Jr. (Linda), John Hockemeyer, Bill Hockemeyer (Rachel) and Ed Hockemeyer (Breea); and many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by a niece that was special to her, Haley Hockemeyer.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Gene and Edith Fisher.
