Diana Wood DeWeese, 63, of Creedmoor passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Duke Medical Center.
Born in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Gene Wood and Lamona Addison Wood.
Dianna was a 2015 graduate from Vance Granville Community College with an associate degree in accounting and an associate degree in business. She received both degrees on the same day. Dianna was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor, officiated by Pastor Roy Stallings and Pastor Larry Wood. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Jacob Andrew DeWeese III; a son, Jacob DeWeese IV (Crystal); a daughter, Megan Boyd (Corey); a stepson, Joshua DeWeese; eight grandchildren and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Beginnings Church of God of Prophecy, 14 Fairlane Ave., Franklinton, NC 27525.
