Donald "Donnie" Stainback,72, of Oxford, NC passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 11, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Donnie was born in Vance County on January 29, 1950, to the late Adkin Stainback and Gertrude Lynch Stainback.

Donnie was a loving father, grandfather and friend. His hope was that no one felt grief over his passing. A later date will be set for a celebration of Donnie's life, where stories and laughs can be shared.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Calvin Grissom and a brother, Mike Stainback.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Thorndale Oaks.
