Dorothy Moss Norwood

Dorothy Moss Norwood, 74, of Stem, NC, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Granville Health System.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry Moss and Laura Hill Russell Moss. She was the widow of Stewart Norwood.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Strickland; three sons, Marty Goss (Carmella), Jimmy Goss and Joel Poe; five grandchildren, Kara Goss, Jordan Goss, Logan Goss (Jessica), Cassidy Honeycutt (Aaron) and Jarod Goss; three great grandchildren, Emerson Walters, Elaine Goss and Ruby Honeycutt; one sister, Linda Marks; one brother, Hugh Moss; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Moss.
