Dorothy Pulliam Ramsey, 76, of Oxford passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehab in Henderson.
Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Rommie Franklin Pulliam and Gertrude Winn Thomas.
Dorothy was a member of Stovall Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford. Reverend Johnny Yount will officiate. Interment will take place at Meadowview Memorial Park.
Survivors include one son, Timothy Woodrow Ramsey; two granddaughters, Kacey Ramsey and Victoria Chappell (Zack); one great grandson Zander Chappell; three sisters, Sylvia Patterson (Joe), Tammy Overby (Bobby) and Patricia Setzer (Dale) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Ramsey Jr.; one son, Kenneth Ray Ramsey; two brothers, Rommie Pulliam Jr. and David Pulliam and two sisters, Nancy Wilson and Betty Williamson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 4, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford.
