Douglas Theodore Faulkner, 90, of Annandale, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at his home.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Paul Faulkner and Zelma Ellington Faulkner.

Mr. Faulkner was a member of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church and was also a member of the Henderson High graduating class of 1953. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and attended Louisburg College in 1955. He received a Bachelors degree of Science at the University of Maryland.

Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Ann Hunt Faulkner; one daughter, Pamela G. Boyle (Pat); two grandchildren, Megan Fernandez (Ross), and Joey Boyle; three great-grandchildren, Ellie Fernandez, Olivia Fernandez, and Cora Fernandez; one sister, Joyce Lee; and other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Henderson conducted by Rev. Johnny Yount. Interment will follow at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
