Earleen Moseley Stainback

HENDERSON – Mrs. Earleen Moseley Stainback, 96, of 2525 S. Cokesbury Road, Henderson, died Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late James Earlie Moseley and Mae Perdue Moseley, and was the widow of Milton L. Stainback Jr.

She was a member of Cokesbury Methodist Church. Mrs. Stainback graduated from Aycock High School and Henderson Business School. She worked at Roses office and for thirty years she worked for the Agriculture Stabilization Conservation Service (ASCS) for the Henderson Tobacco Market as a marketing recorder. She also worked seasonally at the Vance County Tax Office.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 12th at Cokesbury Methodist Church, conducted by Pastor Michael Edmondson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving are a son, Gary Stainback and wife, Cynthia of Winston-Salem and one granddaughter, Maggie Elizabeth Stainback of Winston-Salem.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm prior to the service, in the Fellowship Hall at Cokesbury Methodist Church.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Jerry Baskett, Rusty Renshaw, Wayne Young, Earl Young, Bryan Baskett and Brent Young.
