Edgar Jackson Watson, 69, of Kittrell passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at his daughter's home with his children.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Jessie Alvis Watson and Aleine Cole Watson. He was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Hester Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Jeff Hensley.

Survivors include one daughter, Lauren Watson; three sons, Joshua Watson, Gabriel Watson and Daniel Watson; three grandchildren, Zoey, Tristan and Skylar; extended family and a host of friends. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Elizabeth Watson and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Hester Baptist Church.
