Eleanor Paula (Niparts) Freeman, 71, of Butner, North Carolina passed away at home on Tuesday May 6, 2025.

Born on August 22, 1953, in Oxford, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Janis V. Niparts and Pauline Bedau Niparts.

Eleanor dedicated her life to service through a variety of meaningful roles. With a strong sense of duty and commitment to helping others, she proudly served in the United States Army. Following her military service, she continued her career at the VA Medical Center and later with the North Carolina National Guard in a civilian capacity.

Known for her quick wit, playful sense of humor, and extensive creativity, Eleanor was deeply devoted to her faith, family, friends, and passions. She had a lifelong love of music, writing, dancing, art, and cherished time spent at the beach.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Amber Feldman (Sam), grandchildren, Kinsley and Nolan, sister, Elisabeth Todd, brother, Herbert Niparts (Brenda), niece, Emily Brinskelle (Ed), nephew Janis V. Niparts II, and several additional extended family members. She is
proceeded in death by her parents, and nephew, Michael Todd.

A memorial service will be held on May 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home located in Creedmoor, North Carolina. The family will receive visitors at Eleanor's residence on May 20, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
