Eleanor "Ellie" Pergerson Tuck, 63, of Oxford passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at UNC
Hospital.
Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late James Alton Pergerson and Loretta
Palmer Pergerson.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral
Home of Oxford. Reverend Bruce Beck will officiate. Burial will follow at Meadowview
Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband of forty-four years, Wyatt Matthew Tuck; two daughters,
Amie Hilton (Matthew) and Hannah Tuck; five grandchildren, Haley Taylor (Jake), Matthew
Ellis, Ava Hilton, Lana Hilton and Weston Tuck; two great granddaughters, Eprillee Taylor
and Mila Taylor; one brother, Johnnie Pergerson and one sister, Jackie Inscoe. Other than
her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Nancy West, Linda Pergerson and
Vickie Champion and one brother, Billy Pergerson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Sossamon
Funeral Home of Oxford.
