Elizabeth Hunt Francis, 59, of Henderson passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at her home.

Born on October 20, 1966, in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Hunt and Elizabeth Montgomery Brantley.

She was a member of Grace Ministries in Henderson.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Lee Francis; one daughter, Samantha Francis; two sons, Sam Francis (Beth) and Kenneth Wayne "Junebug" Newton; two stepdaughters, Destiny Francis and Shannon Harris; seven grandchildren, Trae, Christopher, Drew, Summer, Michael, Lily and Penelope; two sisters, Karen Breedlove and Diane Thomas (Ricky); a special friend, Glenn Griffin and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson. All other times they will be at the home of her sister, Karen Breedlove, 64 Franklin Rd., Henderson, NC 27537.
