Elsie H Norwood

Elsie Rose Hillard Norwood 96, of Henderson, NC passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at Universal Healthcare – North Raleigh.

Born in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Thornton White Hilliard and Minnie L Watkins Hilliard...... She was the widow of Hunter Morgan Norwood.

She was a long-time member of Island Creek Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Island Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Johnny Yount.

Survivors include one son, Donald W. Norwood; and one daughter-in-law, Patricia Norwood. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Norwood Prather; and one son, Ronald E Norwood.
