Faye O. Pulley

Faye Oakley Pulley, 68, of Henderson, NC died Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Maria Parham Health.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Leonard Oakley and Marjorie McIver Oakley.

Faye was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she taught Sunday School for a number of years.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church, conducted by the Rev. Mark Richardson and the Rev. Frank Sossamon.  Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.

Surviving is her husband, Dwight Pulley; one daughter, Shannon P. Wade (Kevin), one son, Chad Pulley; three grandchildren, Ava Wade, Sophie Wade and Eli Wade; one brother, Dale Oakley (Susan); two nieces, Mary Oakley and Caroline Oakley; one nephew, Jonathan Oakley; two aunts, Rochelle Hillard and Pauline Capps; one uncle, Wiley Oakley, and a sister-in-law, Gloria Oakley and numerous cousins. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Oakley.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.  All other times, they will be at her home.

Serving as pall bearers will be Steve Pernell, Chuck Ramsey, Ray Hilliard, William Coker, Adam Pulley and Marty Pulley.
