Frances W. Hicks
Frances Williams Hicks, 91, formerly of Henderson, died Monday, March 23, 2015 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late William Fletcher Hicks and Sadie Williams Wade. She was the widow of Walter Linwood Hicks.
Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker. She was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Flowers Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. J. Marshall Neathery. A private burial will follow in Island Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are her daughter, Ann H. Lovelace (Mark) of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Pam W. Clayton (Woody) of Banner Elk, NC; three grandchildren, Lauren VandenBos, Lin VandenBos, and Zach Lovelace; a great-granddaughter, Kytanna VandenBos; a niece, Denise Kiser; and a great-nephew, Tyler Kiser.
Arrangements are by Flowers Funeral Home.
